Railmodeller very slow on Mac Mini with 10.6.1 Snow Leopard.
When using Railmodeller 3.1.6, when I choose "File - save as" there is a delay of 9 or 10 seconds before the window opens.
Sometimes I will see the coloured wheel for maybe 7 seconds.
This is a recent change - can it be caused by the change from Leopard to Snow Leopard?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Railmodeller very slow on Mac Mini with 10.6.1 Snow Leopard.
This really points more in the direction of the operating system rather than RailModeller.
For example, there could have been network or other removable drives that were connected to the computer before but are not available now and the OS tries to locate them when showing the file requester or anything similar to that.
I've experienced similar behaviour under different circumstances before (not with RailModeller, though) when aliases (links) to removable drives have been stored somewhere on the hard drive and certain actions would trigger delays until the OS realizes the drives are not currently available.
There's nothing in RailModeller that could explain any delays when saving a file.
Does this occur when opening a file requester with other applications as well?
Does this happen even with an empty layout, i.e.
- Start RailModeller (don't use an existing session)
- File > New Worksheet
- File > Save..
..?

Yes - Numbers takes 13 or 14 seconds.

Yes - about 10 seconds.
Thanks for your reply - the internet has many questions about the Mini running slow after changing to Snow Leopard - some folk have changed back to 10.5.
