printing problems

I'm trying to print a 1:1 version of my N gauge layout and the settings are completely out. The zoom factor is currently 1181% and was higher (about 4000%). Attempting to print it on A3 paper has given me roughly O gauge size!
I've tried printing to pdf and I get lots of spurious tracks appearing on it. I've also copied and pasted to a new document in case the layout is corrupted with no success.
The software also crashed several times on me yesterday when trying to print.
What should the percentage be to print at 1:1 for N Gauge?

I partly solved the problem by ditching the application and downloading it again. A bit extreme but it worked. I still get the spurious extra tracks, however. I think it may occur where I have specified the fit with flextrack option.

It sounds like the preferences may be corrupted.
Could you try temporarily renaming the prefs or completely removing it?

The RailModeller preferences are stored in a file called com.railmodeller.plist in the user preferences folder.
It's usually fastest to locate them using the Spotlight search function (the magnifier glasses in the menubar).

I also have spurious tracks on my printouts. They seem only to occur then I am printing 1:1. It happens on the printer as well as in the PDF preview.
The spurious tracks appear only on some pages of the printout.
I can send the worksheet file, if this helps to reproduce and fix the problem.

Best regards,

Re: printing problems

Can you please send us the worksheet and note at which zoom level the problem occurs?

Thanks!
