While we are having a rant about the road rules in SA, what about speed camera's? I thought they were used to reduce the road toll, but at the moment the 2009 road toll is much higher then at the same time in 2008, I guess the speed cameras are doing there job NOT! How is someone getting fined for doing 58 down hill in a 50km/hr zone going to prevent fatal crashes? If speed cameras arn't revenue raisers then why don't people have a choice as to where the fine money goes. If I got done for speeding and I chose to give my fine money to the Anti cancer foundation at least i'd know that the money was going to a worthwhile cause not feeding a goverment coffer.
Back to car crushing... do we live in such a wastfull society that a fully opprative car could be crushed to teach somone a lesson? People in 3rd world country's struggle to have enough food yet our government can be that wastful that they would crush a car that could be sold and the proceeds given to victims of crime. Once a car is crushed its only worth whatever the current scrap metal price....

Have to be careful now, test runs up and down the road out the front would be classed as hoon driving I guess. 
The government needs to be consistant, If a hoon driver gets their car crushed. Then a rapest should have their #*@% cut off, a theif chop of their hand, a murderer ???
How many people have been killed or had their lives ruined due to a bit of a skid or a blip of the throttle? not many I would bet.

Just a new word to be flaunted, the old days it was "Bodgiess, Widgees, Rockers.Surfees,rev heads, boy racers,back to "American Graffitti, "Leader of the pack [if you were into motor bikes], at the end of the day nothings changed] Try not to lose focus of a motor sports park and forget about Bob Jane this Bob Jane that [Bob Jane is an old Man!!! LEAVE HIM ALONE], and Adelaide wants to to do this and that !! Everyone seems to waste there energy on TRIVIA!!!! and hear say??? Its time to "Step back " and lets finish off a really good thing for the Riverland we all were excited about yesterday before TRIVIA soaked up and killed our time and instead of being LOOSERS lets become the WINNERS!!!! Enough is enough!!!
