well, called in at Waikerie on the way back from the Mildura Tri State Drags, and watched some great off street type drags....bloody good day...i have been before and still recon it is a top event to attend.
there is just somthing about a country, community type event, that you can tell is run by die hard racing fans....top stuff !! well run and organised (Y)

Thanks for the kind words v8hobby.
The dedicated few from the Club did a fantastic job not only running the two day event but organising the whole deal.
(Hats off to Stuart and gang for another well oiled weekend)
I didnt see a lot of racing myself busy like most other members. The sun certainly had a bit of bite in it and this kept a few competitors and spectators away.
Cant wait untill we get our own strip down.
(Dont ask we are working on it lol)

I liked your wagon dont see many old Holdens getting around much anymore.
I did take photos of nearly every car there on Saturday but when I got home I found out the camera was set on micro and all the pics where very blurry 
My fault, I should just use the old 35mm instead of the stupid digital lol.
We had arranged for a photographer to take pics over the weekend so as soon as I get them I will post them on the site. We should have a DVD of the weekend as well soon so keep an eye out on our site.
As far as the food goes, hats off to Club members who quickly arranged a BBQ that morning due to a local service Club ringing Saturday morning to let us know they were not coming....Grrrrrrr!
Entrants were down on both days, but with the warm weather and so many other things on the same weekend it was bound to happen.
