Re: Star Wars The Clone Wars season 2 news and notes
I've seen a few episodes of this/ Wasn't all that impressed/ It's getting to be kind of like a soap opera, or at least like Star Trek got with all of its spinoffs and tv shows/ Well I guess I kind of envisioned more of something like of what (old) Obiwan said about how Vader hunted down all of the Jedi and killed them/ Now that would make a much better series IMO/ As a fan of the original trilogy, it just kills me that Anakin is made out to be this hero and that he's really a good person who turns to evil/ Personally I'd much rather that he was an evil person like he portrays in the original film. "WHere are the plans you intercepted?! What have you done with them?!" as he chokes the guy to death. I'd rather see more of that but I guess the money is in PG related kid stuff/ oh well I gotta move on to something else now

Wouldn't say The Clone Wars is PG it's pretty violent.

Re: Star Wars The Clone Wars season 2 news and notes
Really? The episodes that I have seen were pretty tame/ From what I have gathered, there is a large population of Youngun's watching the cartoon/ I guess its all relative and maybe less impactive in cartoon form/ I mean think of all the violence we watched as kids with the Transformers blasting away at Decepticons versus Autobots, or all those Joe's fighting the Cobra's on a daily afternoon basis, but I don't think I ever thought that anything was excessively violent until perhaps seeing the movie Aliens for the first time at probably a young age but I never had any regrets on that wasn't anything I couldn't handle, and judging by the way kids are these days, kids seem less and less phased by violent movies/cartoons/tv/etc Not sure if thats a good or bad thing but I've always been on the side of what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

You have characters being killed every week. Not every episode is that way, they have light episodes but there is a lot of dark stuff going on. Last story arc showed a Jedi being tortured and dying as a result.
