Really? Miley Cyrus is the worst celebrity influence
According to AOL's JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website which targets 9 to 15 year olds has named Miley Cyrus the worst celebrity influence of 2009. The results are based on an unscientific poll the site ran. Britney Spears and rapper Kanye West were 2nd and 3rd.
However She was 4th in the category of favorite female artist, behind Taylor Swift, "I Kissed a Girl" singer Katy Perry and R&B star Beyonce.
No reasons were given but some experts believe the reason is her 9 to 15 year old fans expect Hanna Montana while Miley who will turn 17 in November is looking to grow beyond Disney and Hanna Montana, much like Hillery Duff before her.
Now in a year where Kanye West reached new lows and Serena Williams made the press not for her Tennis game but for threatening a line judge just days after Joe Wilson's You Lie outburst and Kanya's interruption. Do we really need to punish a girl for growing into a young woman.

yeah Britney is pretty much focusing on an older crowd now with her comeback. Miley is drifting that way but still I see no reason she is the worst. The article I saw brought up three things; Dating an older guy, I see no reason to be upset by that it's not like she was dating someone my age. Hayden Panettiere who is only a couple years older dated her older co star and no one cared, only reason it came up for Miley is she's a bigger star.
The infamous "slant eyed" photo, now we have no idea what was going on behind the scenes for all we know it was a photo taken at the wrong time.
Her pole dancing moment, a load of crap really there was a pole and she danced by it, it wasn't pole dancing. I've seen Pole dancing and that's not what it looked like.
She hasn't been caught doing drugs or drinking, she isn't crumbling under the intense pressure like Britney and Lindsey, so I just don't get it
