Re: Anyone interested in Discussing Season five?
Excellent.
Ok, my take so far through episode 3....
Was just a tad disappointed in 'Sympathy for the Devil". I mean it was good but at times it seemed to drag. I know they needed to get Lucifer into the picture and find him a host but it got a little long in places.
The scene with Bobby was great. Broke my heart when Bobby/demon told Sam to lose his number. And the ending... Dean telling Sam he couldn't trust him anymore. Well you knew it was coming but still...
Episode 2 I loved. It started out like the good old days. Sam and Dean on a hunt. And seeing Ellen, Jo and Rufus was nice. I've always loved Ellen's character. But again Kripke had that ending that made you sit back and say Damn! I mean, Sam saying he needs to leave and Dean saying yeah... Ouch.
Episode 3 I loved too. Dean is now hanging with Cas and Sam is on his own. I noticed Dean was colder in this episode. When he killed the vampire it was like a flash back to 'Bloodlust'. Blood splattering on his face and he didnt' care. I think that was a hint to the next episode where it's 5 years in the future and Dean is a cold, heartless hunter. Without Sam, to take care of and protect, Dean isn't Dean.

Re: Anyone interested in Discussing Season five?
some good insight there, Been some good episodes this season wonder if Lucifer would take Sam's body and God take Dean's body. Not sure fans could take that though

Re: Anyone interested in Discussing Season five?
I honestly don't think that's going to happen. I think the next episode will make Dean realize for them to win he needs to be back with Sam. Or I hope that's how it goes. Kripke has said from the beginning that Sam and Dean are the show and no matter how the season ends they will be back as brothers.
That said I'm sure he has a bumpy ride set up for the fans. I just can't see either brother volunteering to be a vessel or 'Angel Condom' as Dean would say.
