GI Joe: Rise of Cobra - slight spoilers -
As the title suggests the film deals a lot with the Rise of Cobra. GI Joe is well established when the film opens, seeing them coming to the rescue of a NATO Convoy.
It seems pretty clear when we first see the Joe's base that it's been around for sometime and like was created to battle terrorists and have had a couple run ins with the Group that becomes Cobra.
We also learn of a history between Duke, Baroness and the man known as The Doctor. I know most purists will likely not like the film because of what it does with what's told through the Comics and Cartoon series. I myself had no issues with what was done.
All the favorites are there; Duke, Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Heavy Duty, Ripcord and Hawk for GI Joe
Destro, Baroness, Storm Shadow, and Zartan for MARS aka Cobra.
I did have a slight issue with the ending, it kind of went against what we have always seen from Cobra but the ground work is laid out for a 2nd film.

Does Cobra have those black tanks with the dual guns atop it? I forget what you call them, but those tanks were sweet/ and the drivers with the red helmet and uniform/
