 Randal 205 Comp two trucks
Can any one tell me when was the last time they’ve see a 205 Comp two truck in a shop (in South Africa)? My last time was about 3 or 4 years ago, it was at Corner Surf shop. I bought the one set and Jakes the other. I am currently looking for 3 sets and I know Brian wants 2 sets as well. O and yes CORNER is to useless to bring in any, even if I’m willing to put down a deposit??
Now the big question is what makes this truck so special to a street luger as myself. The answer the length not the alleged speed increasing free spinning shaft! Long story short I found that it does not make you faster BUT it is more stable on high speed.
So we have been thinking. What about a bush that can screw onto your existing axial with the result being a 205 truck made up from a 180 truck! COOL! Well no! Because the true result will actually be a 260mm and that is just madness? The only thing that will work is a 125mm R2 and yet again Corner does not import them.
Moral of the story: IMPORT YOUR OWN COMP 2s
PS 125mm = 205mm
150mm = 230mm
180mm = 260mm
