Difference between BDCs& LSMW
Hai,
what is the difference between BDCs & LSMW, when can i choose Call transaction method when session method and when is LSMW.

, it just depends on how you want it to run which one you use. Have never used the LSMW so cant really comment too much, it is basically an application in its own right to migrate data from your old system into your SAP system.

Hi Firdoos,
LSMW(Legacy System Migration tool) is used for conversion and mass uploading of master/transaction data from your legacy system for once. Most of the times it will be used for one time upload. Where as BDC is also used for uploading data to SAP but it may be on a regular basis.
