BDT
Good day all
can anyone tell me how to add an extra tab to sap standard application 'contract' in flexible realestate. I tryed to add it by following one document from sap. but, i couldn,t. I created a field group then i created a view, created section, screen, then i place that screen in screen sequence and then i ran the transaction BUSP to generate the container.
but i couldn't see my new tab on that application. By the way i am using BDT.
thanks.
sekhar.

Re: Welcome to your new forum!
Have you had a look at the BDT section on the website http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/enhance/bdt/bdthome.htm
I know this is all based around gm grants and business partner transactions but should be same process. What transaction are you using for the BDT development?
Regards
Mart

Re: BDT
I have never used this transaction before, if you let me have the tcode and will have a look and see if i can help you.
With regards to finding the problem the first thing to try is to add one of the sap tabs again to the screen sequece(so that it apears twice). this wil ensure that you have the correct screen sequence and that you are able to add new tabs/screens to it
Let me know what happens
regards
Mart

Re: BDT
Good day Mart
I followed your instructions and finally I succeeded. But, the problem is I copied a screen to create new one then what happens is it brings all the sections from the copying screen to the copied screen.
can you please tell me how to avoid that stuff.
thanks.
regards
sekhar.

Re: BDT
You do not need to copy the screen, simply create a new entry on the screen sequence(new row) and enter the same name as one of the existing sap screens/tabs. For example where you have entered your new screen name within the screen sequece, replace this with the sap screen that appears first in the sequence.
Regards
Mart
