Re: BDT

Good day Mart

The problem is not in the screen sequence it is in the screens. you know that before screen sequence we need to create a new screen in screens option. At this step if i choose new entry option and create my own screen with y or z and adding the sections. after that i worked with screen sequence i added that screen to the screen sequence but, I couldn't see my new tab. if i copy the existing screen/tab in the screens option then only its showing me the new tab.

If Iam troubling you please forgive me.
please help me.

thanks.
regards
sekhar.

Re: BDT

Sorry

There is no problem with your explanation I think I am not following your instruction correctly.

we need to create field group first, view, section, screen then screen sequence. in this sequence when I am working with secreens I have choosen new entries option and created a new screen/tab and added sectionto it then i moved to screen sequence but, I couldn't see new tab.
then I copied existing tab/screen in 'screens' step and added section to it. then i worked with screen sequence. the screen i copied contained some information in it which is carry forward to the new tab/screen which i do not want.

Re: BDT

oh right, if you have managed to get a new tab/screen to actually appear, along with the info on http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/enhance/bdt/bdt_gmaddfields.htm you should have all the information you need, its just a case of putting it all together. Try removing the section and puting your own in, then check again if it still works. Without actually seeing the problem it is very hard for me to spot any obviouse mistakes.

ALso once you have put your section in, select your screen and click simulation, it should then give you a tree structure of the whole screen definition including sections, views, field groups etc, this might also help you pin point which details are missing!!!

Re: BDT

Hi Mart how r u?
her i need to develop an user exit to impliment a new condition in Real estate contract. the following gives u a brief idea. in my next mail i will send u screen shots where of the application.
This document describes the functional design specifications for an automatically calculation of the amount of the stamp duty which is represented as a condition in a real estate contract. This calculation will be assigned to the condition “stamp duty” through a formula. This user exit enables one to create a new internal formula in the system which will contain the calculation of the stamp duty.
This enhancement is to provide the calculation of the stamp duty based on existing conditions in a lease contract. The calculated stamp duty will then be a condition itself in the contract. In standard SAP this complex calculation of a condition is not available. The business process is Manage tenant related information and activities (MOT-RE.2.3.0.1.1). This process is a day to day process on a ad hoc base which is required roughly 50 times per month.
The user exit must enable the selection of a new formula in the calculation tab in a contract. This formula will contain the complex calculation of the stamp duty as decribed above. The calculation has to be developed.

Re: BDT

Hi there,

Are you able to put the newly developed code into one of the BDT events, i.e. when the user presses enter, save etc. See folloing link for more info http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/enhance/bdt/bdt_events.htm
