Adding F4 Functionality to Field Exit
I have created a field exit that validates certain values entered by a user for Unloading Point ( data element ABLAD ) in transaction MB21.
My problem is that I want to add some kind of popup or F4 functionality so that a list of possible values are made available to the user.
Can someone help.

Hi there, welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately as you probably already know field exits do not allow you to add popup functionality. All you can do is display two types of message which I think are success or error. Also I don’t think adding a search help is going to be possible either without modifying the standard SAP table or program.
I have asked this question many times and nobody has been able to provide me with an answer to it. So if you find a way of getting a search help onto a standard SAP field I would be grateful of any info.
