Hey Buda!
Hey, I got a question for ya. You know that guy that was playing on Feb 15th? The one that was doing run throughs during walk on play. You know the guy, the one who said "Do you know who I am?!?". Yeah that jerk.
You wouldn't happen to know his name would you? I think I overheard someone say that he was an OA ref, and I'd like to write an email to Lee about his conduct on the field.
If it was just that one time, I wouldn't have cared too much. I mean, there's always going to be jerks around and you deal with them. But we had gone back to Rosedale this past weekend (the 22nd) to play some more walk on and the same guy showed up. And proceeded to bunker opposing players really hard, including my teammates 13 year old cousin, who was maybe playing for the second time ever.
Anyway, I called him on it. Keep in mind that this was after the refs had gone over the bunker rule at least twice during the day. Anyway, the only response I got was to "Play the game" and "If I didn't like it then I could take my guys and go home". The reffs that day seemed more interested in making excuses for him than actually putting him in his place.
Furthermore, I posted some of the video I took from the 15th, on youtube, and someone I don't know made a comment about how we "didn't post any hyperball games hahhaha". Not 100% sure if it's the same guy, but it probably is.
Anyway, I usually don't take things this far, but if you know the guys name, or know anyone that does, I'd appreciate it. I mean, if he is a ref, or is on a team sponsored by OA, he's setting a really bad image for them, and at least I think that Lee should know about it. Maybe it doesn't matter to the "hardcore ballers", but to people like you and I, and countless others, who play the game because we love it, that kind of attitude is completely unacceptable.
Anyway, we appreciate your reffing Buda, hopefully we'll see yall at Kobra Kommand.

I called and left a message with karren about what happened, and sorry but i dont know the refs name. Rob and the laddy that was there knows it. If it does not get taken care of leave lee the message any ways and explain to him.

Buddha, not to undermine you on this one, but...
Hey, I know this one wasn't me. I haven't even been to Rosedale yet. LOL. If you can give me a good description of the guy. Height, build, skin tone... I can also look into for you. I've been reffing for the company for 12 years off and on, and I'm now even responsible for assisting in the training of referees at Bowie. Customer service is something OA refs are told to make their top priority, second only to safety. We exist to promote a sport, and I certainly wouldn't stand for one of my co-workers treating a 13year old kid that way, let alone someone new to the sport. That's the kind of behavior that holds this sport back... and the testosterone should have been dialed down the first time you made the complaint. I'm also more familiar with some of the newer guys than Buddha is.

They got crushed!!! LOL. I think it left a bad taste in their mouths. If I can find out who the guy is... I promise to make his bottom ribs touch. LOL.
