SL on CSI last night
Not sure if this is the proper category for this, but also I admittedly wanted to be the first to post in this category anyways. *Shrugs*
Well... did any of you coming here see on last night's episode of CSI that Second Life and to a very small extent, the fandom was kinda featured on last night's episode of CSI?
I wrote about the whole dealio in my journal last night after seeing that. There even was a character in game called "The White Rabbit" in their episode of the show.
(Which btw just so happens to be what I patterned my fursona name after, in fact... ironically enough).
Also, supposedly the people from CSI was playing SL last night or something... some sort of tie in promo/publicity stunt thing or whatever that tied in with that CSI episode.
In the show, they were tryi8ng to track this criminal or whatever through SL, and I think that's what they sort of were continuing on over in SL.
*Shrugs* An interesting concept I suppose.
And, if you're wondering... I've tried playing SL some myself at times, but I'm a dialup user, and SL requires broadband service.
Despite it now working right for me under dialup, SL did sort of kind of work, but not really well enough to play correctly.

I didn't see that, but clawcast.com has a section just about furries in the media in their forum that is really interesting.
