Chelsea wins English Premier League title, Arsenal still a point ahead of Man Utd

Chelsea took the 2004/2005 English Premier League title with an 2-0 away win against Bolton, a Top 6 team in the League. With three games left, Chelsea amassed an unbeatable 88 points, 14 ahead of second-placed Arsenal who has four more remaining games. This is the first time Chelsea has taken the title in 50 years, the last time they won was in 1955.

Second-placed Arsenal later also triumphed against bottom team West Bromwich 2-0 to stay a point ahead of Manchester United who trashed Charlton 4-0.
