Darley Moor 16/8/08
Rode there today the break went early 2nd lap containing Phil Thomas ex Pro plus some other good guys got with a small group tried to chase but they were to fast
Sat in for a while then a Manchester Wheeler rider(he was second on tuesday) went up the road i chased after him when we got together there was 30 minutes to go.
We opened up a gap of about 35 seconds riding well together then with 8 laps to go another rider joined us he sat on for most of the time.
On the last lap i was on the front from the hairpin then with 300 yards to go both riders jumped me still chuffed to bits with eight overall and 3rd in my age category

Nice one, Ian. Thought about doing Darley today but chose, instead, to do Lutterworth tomorrow. Guess it was windy as per usual!
The results are already on the LVRC website.

Nice one Ian, looking at the results that rider that joined you is duff fawcett, gb fire, the other week at darley he and John Tonks got away very early and stayed away for 1st and 2nd, so you must be flying if he couldn't work with you!! Well done
