TLI - Tuesday April 28th
Is anyone doing the TLI race next Tuesday night? I'll be travelling from Stafford, starting out probably at around 4.15pm. What's the best route and roughly how long do you think it'll take at that time in the afternoon?

Re: TLI - Tuesday April 28th
Hello John
I am going but not sure if I will get a ride yet (too long a story to tell here and now). The route is to M6 J18 and then follow the A54 and then A535 out of Holmes Chapel NE to Jodrell Bank and then turn right to Lower Withington. It is about 45 miles from Stafford - reckon around an hour.

Thanks Brian. Weather forecast isn't too good so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Re: TLI - Tuesday April 28th
Just had a phone call to say I'm marshalling tomorrow night. Bugger. I was hoping to race but it'll have to wait until next time. It'd be nice if they gave you more than 1 days notice, eh.

Re: TLI - Tuesday April 28th
Rubbish weather. Cold, wet and decidedly dangerous. Paul Herbert had some serious bad luck as he came off when he was building a substantial break with two other riders. Hope you're OK Paul if you're reading this. Then to top it all there was a monster pile up in the sprint. Bodies and bikes all over the road. It was so bad that the road was closed till everyone managed to either get up under their own steam or got help from others. Let's hope the weather is better for number 2 in the series.
