Weeks TT results

Sunday

Me and my dad rode Bereton's hilly 10 over the resivoir in strong winds and a field of 11.

Joe Corden-29.30(5th)
Colin Corden-31.13(8th)

Tuesday

We did Walsall's 25 on the Dunston course in pretty calm and warm conditions along with a big turnout of 30 others.

Wednesday

3 Stone riders rode the Stafford Club 10 tonight in windy conditions on their Dunston course.

Winner: Andy Moore (Mammoth Lifestyle) 21:29. Sunny, light winds.

Thur 3rd July 2008
South Pennine RC club 10, Etwall.

Will 23:01 (4th in event)
Col 26:35

Winner: Steve Wilkins (Walsall Roads Club) 22:25. Warm, bit of a breeze headwind out, very quick back.

Tue 8th July 2008
South Pennine RC club 25, Etwall.

Will 1:01:06 (with cramp at 23 miles)
Col 1:06:22

Winner: Charles Taylor (South Pennine RC) 53:06. Not a good day for chasing times, tough headwind going out for nearly 13 miles, fast back but I couldn't take full advantage as I cramped in my left leg with ~ 2 miles to go.

ahh the chips were yummy, fat does funny things yesterday i ate two meat pies before shaving a few more seconds off, long way to go to my pb of 21.56 @ 18 years of age on drop bars. i,ve heard you can get some trendy wing mirrors now that attatch to your helmet, lol , have a good ride in the 50 on saturday joe..

Getting closer now big fella, 22:18 at Etwall last Thursday night, was a good night, Col knocked a few seconds off his PB too, 25.09 now. Charles McCulloch won in 19:49 which was a course record.
