SRC Thursday August 20th - Retro Time Trial
SRC are holding a 10 mile TT this Thursday 20th August - at 7pm on our usual Dunston K7/10 course. More details on

We are running this event slightly differently, which will hopefully interest some who like the idea of the old skool series et al or just those with road bikes only, or those who are interested (brave enough lol) in learning how much aero advantage is gained on TT bikes. As well as the normal competition which has some folk on time trial specific bikes (yes you are welcome too) - we are actively encouraging people to come along on their "road bikes", without aero bits and pieces in a bit of a retro throw back "just about the legs!"
Brief ruling to qualify in this category would be: no aero hat, no deep section wheels or disks, no clip on bars, NO TT bike - but other than that effectively just your "best summer bike" and leg power to see how you fair against others WITH THE SAME KIT!...
The grand sum of £1.50 will cover your entry - look forward to seeing you there ;-)
