Pinvin RR, 30th March 2008
Stone Wheelers were well represented today in one of the first races in the LVRC calendar.
Dave Ball, Ian Noons and Simon Degg joined the other 45riders to compete in the 48mile road race.
A small break occurred on the first lap of 6 but was quickly pulled back.
Ball broke on lap 2 with Phil Raynor of Welland Valley and Ian Fagan ex. Cycling Professional.
They stayed away for the entire race with Ball taking 3rd place across the line.
Noons and Degg both finished in the main bunch.
Ball commented after the race “I’m really pleased with my performance today as it’s my first race of the season. I felt good and things look promising for the coming months.”

Good ride Bongo, it's Sam,(GS Strada/Afford) me and me mate Dave (Newcastle 2001) were talking to you on the car park.
As dave said yesterday, it's great to see local lads getting up there
