posticon saturday, 26th

well, just checked the weather for sunday 27th , and if its as promised the welsh gran fondo in wales what i,m down to ride is likely to be a windy washout, nothing can be more dangerous than decending in pouring rain and mist off a mountain at 60mph , brakes they don,t have much effect, let alone pull them as you literaly freeze on the decents, so may be i,ll give it a miss, its not worth the risk. but that leaves me free on saturday and a long ride, 80-90 + miles anyone ? saturday weather will be good, see ya at the tennis club @ 9.15 ish emoticon

Re: saturday, 26th

hi all, we went to bala on friday, lovely day on saturday a warm 21 degrees, great day,
sunday was a complete change, 3.5 degrees, pouring rain and mist, although 1000 had entered the gran fondo only some 300 or so started, it was a horrible day, much better in the nice warm caravan watching telly and eating pies !!!!
