Nine Miles?
I just came opon a site located on the pillows website called "Nine Miles" apparently it was manabe's side project and in it, I found this vary interesting that Two songs featured in the discography are also in the pillows album "My Foot" and the single "Non Fiction"
Why is that? Can you give me more backround information about nine miles? I want to learn more.

Sorry I'm late with this, haven't been here for a while.
Nine Miles, Manabe's side prject is actually reggae. He does have one song called Non Fiction and another called My Foot but I haven't heard a lot from Nine Miles so even though I don't know for sure, I don't believe they are the same songs as the pillows versions. As far as why they titled their songs after Manabe's project is unknown and there has only been speculation about it in the English speaking cicles.

Nine Miles never did a song called My Foot or Nonfiction but he did a song on The Third Eye off his first album (Solomonic Polar Bear) and when the pillows had a single called The Third Eye it wasn't a cover song at all. Because both of these songs sound different they have different lyrics but I still can't find out why they called the single like that. Nine Miles also did a song on their Second album (Return of the Polar Bear) called Heart is There in which the pillows did a cover version off the song themselves in the Nonfiction single.

I knew he had done a couple of songs with the same name, I just didn't know which ones so I assumed they were My Foot and Non Fiction. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up.
