Re: L'Arc~en~Ciel
Friken ebay. I got it but it's bootleg of the Japanese version. No subtitles for the interviews, I'm a bit dissapointed. However, the concert segment is good. They don't put on a show like hide or X-Japan but they rock none the less.
"Are you ****ing ready!!?" Hyde, right before they play Ready, Steady, Go.

Re: L'Arc~en~Ciel
I just found out that my favorite online DVD shop carries the Live in USA DVD. I think this will be the cheapest you can find it, only $14 plus free shipping.

Re: L'Arc~en~Ciel
Just got the new album, it rocks so much....
1.New World-Good, but I prefer the instrumental, if Hyde's voice channel wasn't louder than Ken's guitar it would've been alot better because Hyde's voice really does mute down the solo. 4 out of 5.
2.LOST HEAVEN-I like the intro, very nice and modern, goes pretty smooth and well throughout the song, short but sweet solo, doesn't dissapoint as the ending theme of the new FMA movie. 4 1/2 out of 5.
3.Jojoushi-Very very good, classy, bold, and sophisticated. Video also shows those exact qualities, very nice solo and the music doesn't dissapoint for a Ken arranged song.
4 1/2 out of 5.
4.TRUST-It was an ok song but it may take time to grow on me, the intro reminds me of U2 at times, an ok song overall. 3 1/2 out of 5.
5.Killing Me-Very good and yet very different for a song arranged and written entirely by Hyde, differs alot from his Roentgen and 666 stuff. Very sporty and has a good solo. 4 out of 5.
6.AS ONE-Not exactly my favorite song on the album, it tends to run on and loop, lots of engrish. No solo which dissapointed me, seems to be an odd re-hash of P'UNK~en~Ciel and D'ARK~en~Ciel (ie. very heavy on guitars and drums and alot of screaming) sounds like something that Slipknot would churn out if they had any talent. 2 1/2 out of 5
7.My Dear-But then Laruku turns it down a notch and goes for a very soothing and light ballad comparable to Hyde's Roentgen album, and trust me its very soothing after hearing AS ONE so yes it got a small boost in its score cause of that. Nice song for the ladies. 4 out of 5.
8.EXISTENCE-Very good song, it still remains heavy with the crunchy guitar like AS ONE but not as repetitive or as loud, solo is very good and compliments the song very well. The outro lines (You can't go to sleep, so why not stay AWAKE?) are pretty catchy and true and kinda makes this album more fun as it could hypnotize you lol(laruku hatching some devious scheme to make people be their non-sleeping minions of the night?!)Very good song. 4 1/2 out of 5.
9.Jiyuu e no Shoutai-Another excelent song, the guitar is great, bass is great, but what can you expect from a Tetsu song? Overall very good. 4 1/2 out of 5.
10.Ophelia-Very jazzy intro so this takes the song into a very different direction, very easy on the ears and good for just lounging around or a drive around town.
4 out of 5.
Now for the two songs I'll be guaranteeing you'll be listening on repeat for quite awhile...
11.Hoshizora-Simply sublime, the intro guitar riff is just catchy as hell and also once again reminds me of U2 (and alittle bit of some of Sting's work as well), the lyrics are powerful yet calm and bold. Bass and drum work doesn't dissapoints and Ken's guitar work in this song are just great and trust me on this one, rivals if not may be better than that of Joe Perry after you hear it, yes its that good. Very Very Very good song. 5 out of 5.
12.twinkle, twinkle-This song is just amazing, and it was all made by Ken, lyrics and music. The guitar work also as Hoshizora just awe inspiring, lyrics are catchy and great to sing along with, Tetsu and Yukihiro also do an excellent job in the song carrying their weight and not dissapointing. Just an excellent song overall, no flaws. 5 out of 5.
Album overall: 4 out of 5.
On a personal note may be my new favorite album (former one was Tierra). If you want it just IM me or get it off me from slsk (sn is Wakisazhi).

Re: L'Arc~en~Ciel
Np, also here's a link to the new trailier for the new FMA movie which in the trailer features the new song LINK!

It sounds pretty good, really catchy and Hyde's voice sounds very Driver's High-ish so yay, ark-school laruku baby! Looks to be a very good song.

Re: L'Arc~en~Ciel
My copy of AWAKE came today, and I'm really enjoying it. Every song on the album is really solid and demonstrates L'Arc's wide array of musical talents. I think it's probably the best album since Ark and Ray.
