New GM in the Works
As everyone who has been following this game knows, Heather is stepping down from her GM duties to devote her time to playing instead.
What does this mean? It means that Star Trek: Frontiers needs a new Game Master. She has put the word out and a couple people have put in their bid for the job.
A current SWEF player with lots of playing experience has put in for it. Heather is still to confirm this, but Kat (the name she is known as by everyone in SWEF) could be the next GM.
I have also put in a word to Heather to cover for her. My only condition was that I would do it if no one else stepped up. Since Kat has stepped forward, I'll stay back in reserves if she changes her mind.
In short, Star Trek: Frontiers won't be slipping away into oblivion just yet.
I hope all of the players can make a return, and make this game a success.

Kat is the New GM
It's Official !!
The reins have been passed on, as Heather named Kat as the new Game Master for Star Trek: Frontiers on Tuesday, July 19th.
Kat is expected to start her reign as GM on July 26th and is looking forward to the job.
Most likely know this, but being Game master takes a lot of work. Most of the work is in the preparation and planning for the games. Playing more than one character and keeping the games moving along adds that much more to the difficulty. Then there are the rare instances when players have conflicts with each other that need to be addressed. Those times are usually unpleasant, but as said, they are rare.
Kat has been a player in SWEF for several years, and is currently active in every game playing in SWEF, with the exception of Frontiers. This move on her part will add that to her bill.
With that said, let the welcomes begin. I'm sure they have already.

She isn't the only one who needs to fix her signature...heck, I got to figure out how to do it...::grins:: Of course, that's the least of the things I need to figure out how to do.
Anyway, here be my first post as official GM. As Rick said, adding Frontiers to my list makes me active in every single SWEF game. Keep that in mind if you need me for OOMs. I have open nights, but be patient in scheduling.
Heather and Rick already know this, but it bears mentioning here for you who do not know me yet. I am also a single mother who is attending college full time and will be doing my internship this fall. I am graduating in December, so I have no idea how busy this semester will be. Obviously if I thought I wouldn't have time for you, I wouldn't try, but I will be tired sometimes, so forgive me in advance...*8)
Calling all imaginative people!! Anyone with any ideas for a game plot please get in touch with me using any of the methods below. The one thing I am most terrified of is not having a clue what to do.
And above all, since I've never done this before, please be nice to me...that goes especially for you Rick! ::grins::
