OK, I'll start....
Sometimes when things get fowled up before they can be updated, it's next to impossible to reestablish your identity to update the fowled up material.
What am I going on about?
Well, I was trying to update a website, and found that my password didn't work anymore. Apparently, the host has updated it's servers, which somehow reset the password to something else. Unfortunately for me, it also reset the email address to my old one. This means resetting my password, using their procedure, won't work then, since it send the new password to the email address on record, which is my old one.
A similar thing happened to my domain registrar. I seemed to have forgotten my password somehow, and lost the email regarding the password. That means I can't update my contact info, which also means that I can't get a new password.
Anyway, there are work arounds that I have been offered, and I need to collect the info needed to get things fixed. It just takes longer and is a huge hassle.
Anyone else have something on their mind?

OK, Here's the deal with what I said before.
I am planning to delete that website, or just let it die off. If I could change and update it, I would keep it, just until I had a new website in place elsewhere.
Since that isn't the case, I will be creating a new website to use for us. At the moment, when I have time, I am creating graphics for the new site. Once those are done, I'll be building the site up for us to use.
Those are my plans for the website.
Now the Domain Name situation. Yes, I will be keeping SWEF.NET as our domain name. It's not due for renewal for another year yet, anyway.
Again, there is an issue with a password not working. In this case, it's my fault. I can't remember the password and I can't find the email that has the password in it.
Why is this a problem? Well, like the other situation, the email address there is incorrect. That means I can't reset the password.
To fix that, I have to fax information to them so that they know who I am for sure. Once they figure out that I'm the person who registered the domain name, they will update the email info for me. Then I can reset the password/username.
Why am I messing with this now and not waiting until I have to renew it? Well, I am planning on transferring it to a cheaper registrar so I can afford web hosting as well. That way I don't have to deal with more than one account and end up going through all this again.
Oh, and I will be keeping the info up to date from this point on. I will also be keeping a record of the username/password information. I think the reason I lost that information was due to my previous hard drive crashing and not being able to recover the files from it.
Anyway, I faxed the info required and now await their response.
Want to hear something kind of funny? Well, I didn't think it was so funny.
I faxed the stuff two days ago, and when I did, the fax machine didn't want to send both pages at once, so I ended up doing 2 faxes.
Well, according to them, they don't accept separate faxes. It has to be all one fax or it will get rejected. And it did get rejected.
So I refaxed the stuff this morning, with hopes that they will accept it and make the changes for me.
See what trouble I go through for you wonderful people?

The registrar issues are fixed and I'm so happy about that. 
The website issues persist though. I just sent them another "feedback form" telling them what I really think, and the information (for the third time) that their auto-respond email asks for to fix my problems.
I can only hope that they fix it for me, or I have little choice than to drop the site completely and let it die.

Yeah we can see you crazy talking to your self.
Well if you have the register access again. My offer still stands. All I have to do is give you the name servers for my web hosting account. You plug those in. I set it up in my server, then the sub domian of swef.olesnevich.us will be www.swef.net
just like sgd.olesnevich.us is wwww.stargatedelta.net
Then you can put the site there till you find a hosting company.

All website issues have been dealt with and there are no problems at this time... thus far. So everything is cool now.
On another note...
I went camping for a week late July of this year. I was substituting for my Sister and her husband to take my nephew to a Boy Scout camp.
It was fun. I'd do it again if I had the chance. Sure I am out of shape and felt the pain of sunburn, mosquitos, blisters and muscle aches. Not to mention it got unusually cold for a July night and I packed lightly for a summer nighttime.
But even with all of that, I had a great time, and it made me happy to see my nephew enjoy himself and learn new stuff at the same time.
However, there was something else that loomed in the back of my mind, while on this trip.
On the way to my sisters (around 300 miles from my place and 250 miles from the campgrounds), I had an accident in my car. No one was hurt, but my car has a good size dent in it and the driver-side door doesn't close all the way like it used to. It does close enough to latch so that I can drive the car, but there's a gap at the top of it.
Anyway, it's been a week since the accident, and I finally got a call back from my insurance so I can get it fixed.
Now I just have to drop it off and pick up a loaner car for a while.
Camping was great, but the accident really dampened it for me.
Now it's time to move on and try to get my life back on it's normal routine again.

I took my car to the shop yesterday. Nearly $5,000 for parts and labor, and it could be more, maybe.
My insurance deductable is $240, so that's all I will be paying. But still, it sucks.
I did get a loaner car. A Ford Escort Wagon. Not the prettiest thing, but it will get me where I need to go for the next two to three weeks.
Anyway... Once this is out of the way, I will probably be able to breathe a little easier. Probably.

What Ya Thinkin'?
OK, I gave everyone a custom title. I just couldn't help myself. If you don't like what you have, give me something to replace it with.
So, I went to my 20 year class reunion. I know I mentioned this in the 7th Sea forum, but I wanted to talk more about it.
I had a good time. I was a shy nerdy type in school, so I didn't mix much in school. I had a few friends that I hung out with and that was pretty much it.
Anyway, I couldn't help but feel that some of my classmates were still a little cliquish and I didn't talk to everyone that I would have liked to. But I did have a good time talking to some of them who didn't care about that sort of stuff anymore. Also seeing some of my friends for the first time after 20 years was fun.
Weird thing is that my old friends live less than 30 minutes from me now. After having moved around and traveling everywhere, I came to live an hour and a half from where I went to school. Who would have known that they moved to the same area that I did? Now I have to keep in touch with them.
Bad thing is that I get the impression that there is still some bad blood between two of the friends, so I will have to be careful not to be the guy in the middle.
Anyway, I just wanted to talk about that.
