Personal History
It had been ten years since she last saw her parents. Sure she had seen them on the vid screen, during those years, but she missed feeling their touch. A kiss. A hug. Even the tiniest little touch of the hand. To hear them speak and not have it come over a speaker. It seemed that the things most people take for granted, she wanted so badly.
When she was a child, she stayed close to her family. She always knew she was different, and feared being ridiculed because of it. During her school years, her abilities began to take shape. She couldn't explain what was happening to her. Unusual events took place that she tried to hide from everyone. She even lied to not be blamed for them. She was afraid.
One day, a stranger seemed to always been lurking nearby, and disappear when she turned to look. She felt his eyes on her, and even more so when the strange events happened around her. After weeks of being shadowed by the stranger, there came a knock at her front door. Her mother answered the door and welcomed the stranger inside. The stanger spoke with her parents for a very long time. Akima stayed hidden, wondering what they could possibly talk for so long about. Then her mother called for her. Something inside told her that her life was going to change.
That was ten years ago. Since then, she had been training. It was much like school, but so much harder. Not only was it mentally demanding, but physically, as well. She did all she could to keep up with the other students. Though she didn't think she was exceptional, she was. Akima had excelled at every aspect of her learning. Five years of being a mere student, and five more as an apprentice. She had never expected to make it this far.
The ceremony was small and private. Akima Karrina was brought into one of the Master's chambers and asked to be seated. She thought that something might be wrong, since she was singled out from the others. After being questioned about some of her past and present learnings, it was announced. She was a Jedi Knight. The announcement caught her by surprise, but it was a pleasant surprise.
The Master who had presented her with her new ranking also had something else to tell her. He had explained that her first mission was an unusual one, and that a mission like it was normally given to more experienced Jedi. However, most of the experienced Jedi were already away on urgent matters. Akima hid her fear well, but the Master could feel it. He explained further that she would not be alone. Other Jedi would be on the same mission and would be able to help each other . This eased her fear, and she asked what the mission was. The Master told her the basics of the mission and explained that the details would be made available to her once she was underway. After that, she was dismissed.
First a Jedi Knight, and then a new mission. Everything she had worked for was happening, and faster than she expected. The training seemed to never end, and now she has a chance to prove herself. She would make her parents proud. She still missed them, and wanted so much to give them the good news, but she knew she couldn't. Not yet. For now, she had to pack for a long journey.
Character Traits
Akima tends to keep to herself, until she knows who she is dealing with. When she comes out of her shell, she is a very friendly and easy-going woman. When it comes to business, she doesn't let anything stand in her way. Her focus is sometimes her undoing, though. She tends to concentrate on the task at hand, and sometimes missed things that happen beyond that.

Akima has always been healthy. She remains as such.

Description
She's tall and thin, and considered very beautiful to some but skinny for others. She can blend into crowds, if she so desires, but also has the ability to stand out with little effort. She has shoulder length jet black hair and dark brown eyes. There are no distinguishing marks or scars on her body, with the exception of a very small tattoo in a very hidden place. She feels very comfortable wearing her military uniform. She sometimes wears trousers and a button-up shirt, tucked in. Her trousers are usually tucked tightly into her black half-calf high boots.

Personal History
Raffi Gerrig lived most of her life as a happy child on Corellia. She went to school and had friends who were popular. Her father was a Colonel in the Imperial Army, and was often away on business. However, her mother did quite well filling in for him. Her younger sister, Jyrna, was somewhat troublesome for her, but that was what sisters were for.
After school, she went into the Academy with her friends. Her father was proud of her, but her mother worried that she would not have a good life afterwards. She did well in the Academy and was soon assigned to duty in the Imperial Navy, after graduating.
Ensign Gerrig went through the ranks quickly, as the war stepped up it's pace. Her experience grew just as fast. Within three years, after joining the Imperial Special Training Corps, she was Leutenant Gerrig. Unfortunately, she was not to be an Imperial Leutenant for long. The ship she was assigned to was attacked and destroyed. She managed to escape, but was far behind enemy lines, and had no way to get back to Imperial territories.
After nearly six years, she found her way back to Corellia. She used her experience to join her former enemies, now known as the New Republic. She had to rise through the ranks from the bottom, again, but she did so quickly. Most of her duties were strategic in nature, due to her Imperial experience. She had taken on field assignments on rare events that called for her knowledge and training.
During her first few years in the service of the New Republic, she discovered that her mother had died five years before. Her sister was now living with her long ago retired father. Though she found her family, she never contacted them, for she found out that they had been told that she had died in her last battle as an Imperial officer, so long ago.
She requested leave to deal with her emotional state, and it was granted. Only a few weeks later, she was in the brig for assaulting an official of a little known city on a backwater planet. The New Republic knew of her history and needed her experience, so they assigned her to a new expeditionary fleet, as commander of an older, but refitted and modified CE Corp Corvette, previously known as a Rebel Blockade Runner.
Character Traits
Raffi comes across as stiff and very authorative. She does not show her personal emotions outwardly to anyone but herself. Her strictness can be a bit harsh and her words blunt, but she does not feel it worthwhile to waste time with nicities. She dislikes those who are not prompt and have a problem with her authority.
Medical History
Raffi has had a fracture that occurred during her escape from the destroyed Imperial ship, but it has long since been healed. No scars or illnesses beyond that.

Description
Auron is a slim but athletic young man with dark brown hair and milky white, sightless, eyes. Though others rarely see the latter, due to the dark goggles he wears at all times when he is not alone. Aside from his goggles, Auron typically wears the robes of a Jedi, however his have a slightly crimson tint to them, as well as a utility belt that holds various tools and his lightsaber, though he rarely uses the latter if he can avoid it, preferring instead to rely entirely on the Force for protection and combat purposes.

Personal History
Auron was born to a wealthy, Corellian, businesswoman and a flamboyant, Miraluka, entertainer. It was an unlikely pair, his mother traveling all over the galaxy for her business, and his father traveling with her and booking his shows accordingly.
Auron grew up in space, spending most of his childhood bouncing from planet to planet with his parents. It was a fun life, but when Auron hit his teen years it became obvious that his connection to the Force ran deeper than just the special sight that the Miraluka possess, thus leading his parents to send him to the Jedi Academy on Yavin to train.
His early years at the academy passed very much like they did for all new recruits. But after his basic training, Auron became obsessed with the Force, to the point where he avoided taking missions and even tried to avoid being chosen as a Padawan. All so that he could remain at the temple and quietly study the Force in peace in the Jedi Archives. When it became obvious that his desires would not negatively affect either himself or the Jedi as a whole, and that such devotion might actually produce beneficial results for the Jedi, his requests were granted and he was allowed to study in peace.
The only times Auron left the Jedi Temple in the entirety of his time there, were either due to emergencies where any able bodies were required to rush to assist a Jedi team out on a difficult mission, or when he ventured out on his own to study Force using cults and tribes on various planets in an attempt to understand every facet of the Force.
This desire for understanding not only drove him to study the “Light Side” of the Force, but also the “Dark Side” as well. Which was more often than not a very dangerous practice for Auron. Not because of the chance he might fall to the “Dark Side”, but more because of the type of people he was forced to study and do business with to further his research in that area.
Auron finally left the Temple, perhaps for good, when he was assigned to a recovery mission heading out into uncharted space. He was reluctant at first, since he was far from finished with his Force research, but the idea of potentially discovering and studying uses of the Force outside of known space was too good to pass up..
Character Traits
Auron is a generally quiet, helpful, and inquisitive, young man. He typically keeps to himself, but this is more out of habit than any strong desire for solitude. Because of this, when he is forced into spending time with others he is perfectly happy and sociable, instead of introverted or anti-social. He inherited a ruthless business sense from his mother, a fun loving nature from his father, and a desire to strive for truth, honor, and justice from his Jedi training. All of this has produced a rather well rounded young man who can be both kind and sympathetic to others, but also ruthless if the situation absolutely requires it.
Medical History
Seeing as Auron has spent the majority of his young life within the Jedi archives, instead of flying around the galaxy on missions getting injured, aside from a few cuts and bruises received while on his personal field trips he is perfectly healthy and scar-less.

Description
Alizar looks like your average Zeltron, which means that compared to most humanoid males he is exceedingly handsome and in superior physical condition. Honed by years of Jedi training and conditioning, his body is slim with a toned, athletic build, ideally suited for agility and grace. He has light red skin, and long (about collar-length), thick, reddish-purple hair, which he tries to keep combed back out of his violet eyes.
After years of fighting against the Yuuzhan Vong, Alizar bears several scars across his body. The most notable one, the remnant of a Vong coufee wound, runs diagonally downward from about two inches above Alizar's right eyebrow, bisecting the eyebrow as it extends several more inches down past his eye to the edge of his cheekbone. Curiously, rather than ruining his attractiveness, this scar has given Alizar's formerly boyish good looks a more mature, rugged, and dangerous quality.
Alizar's Jedi robes are cut in the traditional style, but instead of the drab, neutral colors most Jedi wear, he prefers robes of red, with boots and a utility belt made of dark red leather. In typical Zeltron fashion however, his robes, while designed to be fully functional and allow him freedom of movement, also emphasize his attractiveness and make him look particularly appealing to most humanoid females. He is unique in the New Jedi Order for wielding a lightsaber with a curved hilt. The hilt was crafted from electrum, with the Zeltron character for "good fortune" engraved on it, and it emits a violet blade.

Personal History
Alizar Voros was born on the same day the Battle of Endor took place. His parents were Rusko and Cerise, but Alizar has no memory of his father, unfortunately, because Rusko was killed when the Nagai invaded Zeltros several months after Endor. He spent the first ten years of his life on the hedonistic world of Zeltros before being discovered by the fledgling New Jedi Order. It seemed that Alizar had a strong connection to the Force, a rarity amongst his species; his mother, who had grown weary of trying to raise a child on her own, was more than willing to let her son leave for Jedi training.
Alizar trained at the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4 for more than a decade. He became the apprentice of Jedi Knight Kam Solusar, the Order's former Battlemaster, and as such Alizar became highly skilled with a lightsaber. He accompanied Kam Solusar and his wife Tionne, the Order's chie historian, on various research missions across the galaxy, and fought against the Dark Jedi of the Shadow Academy when they attacked the Praxeum in 24 ABY.
When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded in 25 ABY, Alizar was still technically an apprentice, but was allowed to take part in missions due to his age and experience, and the fact that every capable Jedi was needed for the war. He fought in several campaigns against the Yuuzhan Vong over the next four years and earned his knighthood. Following the war, Alizar spent most of the next three years as an instructor at the new Jedi academy on Ossu prior to his assignment to the Reliance fleet.
Character Traits
Tempering his natural Zeltron tendencies with Jedi discipline has always been difficult for Alizar. He's always been somewhat impulsive and playful, has never been shy around new people (especially if he finds them attractive), and he always seems to have a joke or a quip at hand. While his cheerful, playful disposition seems contrary to the typical Jedi attitude, Alizar knows when to rein himself in and focus on the task at hand. That doesn't mean he won't try to have fun while doing it, however.
Medical History
Aside from the various injuries he suffered during the Yuuzhan Vong War, Alizar is in sickeningly good health. His natural Zeltron metabolism makes it nearly impossible for him to be out of shape, and that combined with the conditioning he has undergone as part of his Jedi training has made Alizar extremely physically fit.
