"Other" can be selected if you don't like any of the choices and would like to add your own suggestions.
Out of what is posted in the poll, there can be any combination of the titles. I won't go into any explanation of that or give examples. I'm sure you are smart enough to figure it out.

I voted other because while those are all fine names, they all sound a bit too organized for a merc group, sorta military unit sounding. So I thought I'd just toss in something random that sort of sounds like the theme you were going with.

Yes, the choices might sound organized, because most good mercenaries are organized. They have a leader or two and have specific ways they operate. If they were unorganized, what would be the point of being a group at all?
Are you trying to turn the game into 7th Sea game, Grey?  What you put sounds quite 7th Sea-ish to me. Plus, changing the "language" of the name doesn't make it less organized sounding.
Keep thinking, though. I know you guys can come up with something. Personally, I am not entirely happy with the choices in the poll. I've come up with things not on the list. I just haven't posted them yet, obviously.
What is listed in the poll is by no means the only names that will be considered. If something else comes up, it will be looked at seriously.

I think it was mostly the use of the words "Brigade" and "Squad" that threw me off with the names on the poll.
I personally wouldn't mind homaging the good old days of SWEF and calling new pinn something with "Force" at the end, like Mag and Domino.

Name Pinnacle Inc.'s Replacement!
I thought of the "Force" thing in the title for a brief couple seconds before I covered my mouth to prevent myself from hurling.
I don't want to relive the old days again. I want something more original for us... something very new.
Star Wars is kinda super-hereoish because Lucas liked those cheesy 1950's B-movie style titles for his movies.
Mercenaries are military in nature, so I was trying to get something that sounded like it hinted military action for a price type of group.
I'm sure we will find something that everyone will like. I know pretty much everyone else makes their own names for their games and "too bad for the players", but I've always felt that group participation went beyond the actual game. Or maybe it's just me.

OK, here's the deal...
After speaking with Grey and rehashing what was discussed long ago, I have come to a conclusion and a new name for us. That means the poll is now closed and there is no need to worry yourselves about the name.
The new name will be "Mako's Mavericks"
Named for the character who will be the group's unseen "boss". This character's name will be Ruby Mako, and she will have lots of contacts. She would have heard of Pinnacle's demise and contacted one of the employees to gather some of it's former employees to create the Mavericks.
I have yet to name this character who gathers the characters for the group. This person will not be involved with every job, but will join them on rare occassions.
So, any comments and questions?
