Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Ten
EPISODE TEN:
Taak Primar has left Kile and the Zhar System. Unknown to everyone, except Brask and Taak himself, the cells that the group were held in were on Taak's slaver ship. Where he is going, only he knows.
The group has managed to drain the water from the room, but still needs to find a way out. The only doors are locked and there is no obvious way to open them from the inside.
Brask is still at large. The security and maintenance droids are searching the ship for him. At the moment, he's working on the controls of a door. What's behind the door is unknown.

Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Eleven
EPISODE ELEVEN:
Taak Primar's ship has come under attack. Perhaps that is why the group was able to escape the room so easily. Though Brask did most of the work in getting them out, Taak was possibly too busy with the attack to override Brask's hacking.
The group now knows that they are aboard a ship. How they got there is unknown to them. Since the ship is under attack, they have decided to leave the ship as soon as possible. Brask has seen the layout of the upper decks and recalled escape pods. That is where they are headed.

Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Twelve
EPISODE TWELVE:
Taak Primar's ship has been destroyed. If he survived the attack, no one knows.
Meanwhile, the group has been rescued, but might not be feeling good about it. Their rescuers seem to be New Republic, but other than uniforms, there has been no mention of the New Republic at all. The group has also been put into a detention cell, waiting to be interrogated.
Elsewhere, a figure sits in the pilot's seat of a shuttle, looking over his controls. Without warning, his panels light up and an alarm sounds off. The figure works frantically at his controls, swearing continually, as he does. Minutes later, the shuttle is pulled aboard a large ship.

Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Thirteen
EPISODE THIRTEEN:
The group is aboard a ship that, to them, seems to be a rescue ship in search of slayers in the sector. They have been given quarters that are quite nice and are considered as guests aboard the ship.
Meanwhile, Naal Doon was taken to identify Taak Primar. To her, it may look like he is actually running the show, but is he?

Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Fourteen
EPISODE FOURTEEN:
The group is moving down the corridor, away from the lone troop, who survived the attack against the group. With luck, they might be able to find a lift that isn't locked down, or a maintenance passageway to use to get off that deck.
At each end of the corridor are two other corridors, forming an "H". In those corridors are three lifts each. The ship itself is just a little smaller than a Blockade Runner, and has fewer decks. The quarters deck they are on is the third of seven decks. The upper two decks hold the bridge and officer's offices and quarters, as well as other departments, such as navigation and communications. The decks below contain the rest of the crew quarters and main functions of the ship, such as engineering and docking bays. The corridor they were in runs the length of the ship, minus the engine and thruster section.
Meanwhile, since no word has been heard from the troop leader or his troops, Lt. Sedrick is trying to explain to Commander Yassir that he needs more men to contain the possible problem with their "guests". The Commander is growing suspicious of Sedrick and his dealings with Taak Primar, and is putting up some resistance, but doesn't want "guests" to take over his ship. He is currently turning the conflicts over in his head, wondering which is the better of two evils.

Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Fifteen
EPISODE FIFTEEN:
The ship is under their control now. Commander Yassir is stirring, but still not awake. Lt. Sedrick is still out of it. If Doon had her way, he would be out of it perminently.
The bridge us locked up tighter than a drum. Brask had made sure of that. The rest had secured the crew in another room on that deck. They weren't going anywhere either. The rest of the ship shouldn't think anything different for the time being. It will only be a short time before someone figures it out, though.
Meanwhile, a second ship can be seen far ahead. It is a heavily armed frigate. Also seen are small fighters moving around the larger ship in patrols. No other ships are neither present, nor visible on scans. No communications have been made from ship to ship, yet. Again, it will only be a short time before that happens. They have to be ready.

Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Sixteen
EPISODE SIXTEEN:
It has been four hours since Ian asked Commander Yassir if he could take them to Tynna. He has agreed to take the group as far as the Kuat Passenger Port. It is a little out of his way, but not as far as Tynna would be.
During those four hours, the group has been actual guests, unlike the false guests that had been before. They have access to the entire ship, with exceptions to some of the more classified and restricted sections, such as the computer operations core, weapons systems control and propulsion control.
Commander Yassir has been given orders to return to Coruscant to make a full report on what had taken place and deliver Lt. Sedrick to the courts.
Lt. Sedrick is awake and has been escorted under guard to the brig. If Doon had her way, he would be executed instead.

Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Seventeen
EPISODE SEVENTEEN:
Commenor was to only be a drop for navigational purposes on the way to the Kuat Passenger Port. However it has turned into a battle for life. Three small cruisers have met Yassir's ship there, and the fight has begun. The tide is tipping towards Yassir's advantage, but for how long?
Meanwhile, Lt. Sedrick has escaped from the brig and is loose on the ship. His exact where-abouts are still unknown, but Pinnacle Inc. has been given free reign to find and capture him and whomever helped him with his escape.
Also missing is one Jennell Dradman. There was what seemed to be evidence of a struggle in her quarters, but nothing indicating where she might be or how long she has been gone. It is possible that Lt. Sedrick has her, but there is no evidence to confirm that yet.
The deck below the bridge deck was being searched in a methodical way. Unfortunately, Keyan Dargan was found during the search, unconscious near a lift. Who attacked him and where they are is still unknown.
Naal Doon and Brask, accompanied by a security detail have searched the entire shuttle bay and found nothing. There next move would be to continue the search one deck above the shuttle bay, unless they gain knowledge of any new events to make them do otherwise.
Other very recent events indicate that power generators all over the ship are on the verge of overheating. How much more can they take? We shall see.

EPISODE EIGHTEEN:
The battle between the ships has stopped and they are now moving into formation together, preparing to leave to a new destination.
Pinnacle Inc. and a security detail have secured the bridge deck, but have yet to take over the bridge itself. The blast doors are sealed and they are the only way to get inside. There are computer terminals outside the blast doors, but they are currently without power.
One of Sedrick's men said that there are only three men, besides Sedrick on the bridge. There is no way to know if any of the other bridge crew are working with him or not. Commander Yassir's fate is also unknown.

Preludes for Assignment 010605 - Episode Nineteen
EPISODE NINETEEN:
Lt. Wefredon has taken command of the ship, and the bridge crew has been replaced. Both Commander Yassir and Lt. Sedrick are dead, along with a handful of crew who either supported Sedrick or didn't.
Lt. Wefredon is maintaining the illusion that the ship is still under Sedrick's command, so that the other two ships will not attack. However, it won't be long before they figure things out.
Pinnacle Inc. has gathered their belongings, what few they had, and have taken Jennell to the shuttle bay to board a shuttle and leave the ship. They have had enough of the flip flopping command, and are willing to take the risk in a mostly defenseless shuttle. Hopefully they will make it to a spaceport where they can get a real transport back to Tynna.
