Pirates of the Caribbean Part Dos
So we rented the new Pirates dvd, not the super-fabulous one with the 20million extra features, but the plain jane.
We watched it intently, laughed alot, and swooned over the piratey-arrrggh-goodness eye candy. They kept on well in relation to the first one, and brought back alot of characters we thought would disappear. Davy Jones, the dude with the octopus head, was raaaad. It was neat watching all his tentacles wiggle around independantly of each other. And the hammer-head shark dude was really funny. They somehow super-imposed someone's face over a hammerhead head. Here he is!
Lots of swashbuckling! It was weird seeing the character Elizabeth with a sword... how did she learn? So that part wasn't believable when she got in this huge barfight. And in the end, they left it wide open for a sequel. That totally pissed me off, so if you're easily pissed off to open endings, just wait til the 3rd movie comes out.
And that's my half-fast review. What did you guys think of this movie? Didn't JD look great with the eyeliner?

Haven't seen it yet. Steve saw it before I did. Bastard!! I think it might be playing on PPV or something, I'll have to check it out. I absolutely love JD though!!

Excellent movie! The end pissed me off, but it's good enough to wait for.
Did you know that Johnny Depp is from Owensboro, KY? Small world! I used to live close to there. Thats my only claim to anyone cool in Ky. Except, Hunter S. Thompson used to go the KY Derby all the time. That ****er was the ****!
