Okay, LegendMUD noob question
I want to create a druid or some other magic user. I thought that I was doing so with Ilmacuil, but apparently not. Where do I want to start and such for that sort of thing? I had actually decided that I was rather tired of Mac already, but I suppose I won't delete him yet.

Re: Okay, LegendMUD noob question
Tara and Lima are were druids usually start. Druids are probably the hardest job in the whole game... hence why I don't do it anymore. You're responsible for knowing and getting all the herbs you're going to need to do druiding. And you need ALOT of herbs. You first learn poultice, which will poultice one herb... and heals very little HPS, but then you get AUGMENT, and you're using 2 of the same herb per poultice for much greater regen of HPS. Brewing is also very important, and there's a million helpfiles on it I'm sure. You want to have high mind when you pick your stats. Druids are probably the spammiest, but still very heavily relied on characters in the mud. There's gotta be healers if people are killing stuff left and right, right?
Then there's mages. There's 2 types of magic. Cause and Create. With Create, you can create doppelgangers, create orbs of light for yourself, create food and specific items, and a very few offensive spells. Cause is more offensive with fire spells, buffs like strength and bless, you can raise corpses to fight for you, blahblahblah. You have to go on quests to learn spellwords, but you want to make sure you're born in a hometown that has magic. If you come from Tara, you can learn up to 2 Circle words, Agrabah is 3rd Circle words. (3rd Circle means there's more spellwords to learn, hence more spells) I don't usually start a mage from any other place than those. London is good for shooters, Klein is good for tanks, and I don't really know about the others, because well, I don't play a million characters.
Hopefully that helps you some.
