LegendMUD - Herbert LoP
Ok for everyone who thinks I should have stayed an immortal so I could do all of your strings and other such nonsense, I didnt... and now there is a Legend of the Past version of me...
For your reference he has a scalpel engraved 'H. West' for the fanboy types
He also has a mundane copy of his spectacles
And his major item I chose to be his syringe, which is an 8kg dagger, 2dex 3min, casts corrosive death, rents around 6350
So if you are a dex based mage, sniper surgeon, or other dex user who could use a little mind, go kill the tired old man... kill him in any instance just for him suckin so bad if you like.
At the moment he is being killed everytime he spawns which kinda sucks cos i havent even had a chance to kill him yet, but does show his EQ is popular so yay

You're going to roleplay Maximus? What kinda guy is he? Thats alot like your online handle. Why not be a badass druid who makes squirrels out of soap and chases around women just so you can lick your toes? Hmmm?!?!?!?!

Amanda, give me a quick rundown here. I don't want to read through the entire 'readme' ****. I've played MUDs before, so I pretty well have the gist. I established a character earlier, but went no further, was kinda in a hurry. Went to the Mag (bar), had a beer and some socialization, came back, had sex with the gf, and when she left, tried to continue and it said that my char. didn't exist. WTF? I guess i can create a new one, but I'd rather not...  I'm rather confuzzled here.

yeah, the name came off the top of my head. i may reuse an old name that i used to use a lot...that is, if I have to start over. and it looks like I'm gonna have to. guess I didn't completely finish with the setup and it timed me out or something. Man, it's been ten years or some **** since I've MUDed...wow. I'm kinda excited.
also, I've never used telnet through windows. I'm kinda lost, any pointers?

if you want to be something specific classwise, read the helpfiles on the hometowns. Hometowns are specific to what kind of character you can be, druid, shooter, surgeon, mage, etc.
Mushclient is great, as well as Zmud, instead of telnet. Easier to create aliases and stuff. Telnet is a ***** and I don't wish it upon anyone.
And I don't tell my alts.
