There's a Reason I don't pump gas
I hardly pump the gas when we go to the fill station. Israel usually does the brunt of the work, goes inside, pays the people, gets some smokes, and does the pumping. But today, he didn't have his jacket, so I was nice, and walked into the station, and waited my turn in line.
I walk in the station, and there's one guy ahead of me, but he's waiting for the clerks to do somethingorother. It's funny how when you're in line (or maybe this is just me) I kind of idle around, looking aimlessly at the products on the shelves until they acknowledge me. It's like, hey! i'm invisible til it's okay for you! I guess that makes the clerks happy, I dunno. So I order the gas, order my cigs, and the clerk wants to keep my change. He doesn't say, "Would you like to donate your change to the so-and-so fund?" He says, "Do you want to give away your change?" In no mood or mindset to protest, I let him have his measly 76cents and walk the long walk back to the car.
Israel sitting in the driver side, pops the door from the inside, I press the $1.91 button and start pumping. Water dripped on me from some waterfall above me, so I squirmed my way so it wouldn't hit my face. So, here I am, pumping gas (woo?) jamming out to the Mr. Bungle song, Retrovertigo, in my head. Get my dollars worth, and Israel peeks his head out of the door saying, "eeeeerr, I didn't know, but the car was on the whole time!"

But I'm ok. I don't think I should ever pump gas again.
