Well, no. It is a good idea to check with us when you are unsure about this sort of thing. We all saw that auction when it first came up and passed on it. You are looking for a Niessen 612A. I don’t plan to buy one anyhow. Trek Classic has promised to start manufacturing show correct keys, and I don’t want to do all that welding and plating.

We are constantly trying to assemble an object catalogue. I have a makeshift one started in the Suzy Kang section. My hope is that this can be used to generate ideas and edit the larger catalogue we are working on.

I think today I will make an entry for the key.

Well that's okay. I like old things any way and you never know what we may find out down the road. No offense to the source that said the key was a custom weld job, but I don't buy it yet. Sure there's much I don't know, but there's something hinkey about that. Call me crazy, but I'm buying every old key made by that company I can find.

Like Spike said, not the right ones, but a great find. I would like to have those for my collection of other Niessen keys.
