Object reference guide/Lost Room handbook
Is there a master resource zip fill or pdf handbook available for new people so we could get up to speed as fast as possible? That way the experienced Collectors would not have to cover old ground over and over again when we new people join. The web site is a great resource, but very large. With a handbook we would at least be able to learn the absolutes. Hopefully it would include notes and details that were learned from other sources besides the film it's self.
Best Wishes,

Re: Object reference guide/Lost Room handbook
We are puting togeather a catalog of all the objects. and it could be seen as a handbook. We will list out all the objects and also have news and interviews writen in it. However it have been under development for a while we are hopeing to release a printed, PDF, and HTML version of the catalog out by comic con this year.
I am also working on a Fan webpage for comic con that will host videos and have all the boiled down information on the lost room.

Re: Object reference guide/Lost Room handbook
That's great news Ghinius Sahalin that one is in the works. For we news folks (as some of you may remember I think) it's really frustrating trying to keep up with seasoned Collectors. It's one thing to be the first and do all of the heavy lifting together, but when you come on the scene later and the campus is built, the team has been champion year after year; well lets just say it would nice to know you can pick up a book with the school song in it so you can get it right at the least.
I have some things I must take care of, so I'll cool my jets for awhile. I'll check back in two or three months to see how that;s going. Until then, Best wishes to you all, and it'd been great so far.

Re: Object reference guide/Lost Room handbook
We have long recognized a need for the thing you are describing. That is why we have been working on the catalogue. I have also been assembling a makeshift catalogue in the Suzie Kang section. After we discovered how to solve the problem with the large number of image posts in The Sood section, I realized we could use the same technique to embed a makeshift catalogue into our own forum. I plan to add about one new string every day. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
My hope is that when the makeshift catalogue is finished, it will translate easily into the formal catalogue we are assembling. I see it as a sort of dry run to assemble images and ideas and work out kinks.

Re: Object reference guide/Lost Room handbook
Well i think more the point to be made is that when you do first come to this site there is a lot of information here. There are the interviews we had with chris and others. And there is a lot of other discutions here. But i know it can be a lot of reading and looking around if you are new. sometimes it is hard for me to even keep up with some posts.
But i think we should include in the catalog some of the information that helps people intorduce them to common questions and so forth. But i am going to try and get Chris to answer these questions in an interview at comic con that will be linked in the catalog.
And haveing a makeshift catalog is perfect right now and is going to help out a log to make the real one. i will post a link for it on my webpage once i make it.
