The Glasses
I won the glasses:
What I know so far is that they are Bausch and Lomb. I will post everything else I learn once I have them.
This was a pure sniper auction. I’ve never seen that before—especially surprising since the two other bidders were newbies.

Yes, they were expensive; and I still got off cheap. I was just lucky that the other two bidders were relatively naïve bargain hunters. I have been tracking adult sized vintage glasses (especially Bausch and Lomb) since I started collecting objects, and I can assure you I got off cheap. The surprise was that the competition took so long to show up.

My glasses came:
I know about as much as I did before. They are Bausch and Lomb and they have the funny little triangles. I will need to get the lenses replaced.

I have actually been considering the same thing. Fortunately, or unfortunately, I only need glasses for reading. I know this sounds cheesy, but when I am watching TLR I sometimes do like a little kid: when one of the objects comes up, I grab the appropriate object from my collection and play along. For that reason, I was thinking it would be nice to have the glasses filled with plain lenses. When Ruby puts on his glasses, I can put on mine and pretend I am putting out a fire.
