ok folks.....


           I managed to get a picture diagram of the key right from a Niessen catalog....you will see the 4 keys that have the look.....but we now know that the 612A is the correct key from the show


here's the pic:

Niessen is no longer in business....they went out in the 60's


Unless someone has blanks that have been around for 50 yrs it will be tough to find a full box of blanks.


I am afraid that either ebay or craigslist is the only viable option.

It really does seem at times as if the prop makers had us in mind. How else could they have created such a clear-cut challenge? Why would they have even considered the age of the fracking key!

Based on that sketch, it also seems pretty clear that the key they used on the show was in fact two keys that were welded together at the head.
