Re: The Wall Painting
I watched the first part last night, and there is no painting hanging on the wall. Watch the scene in which Joe steps into the Room for the first time. The camera pans to the bed, and the space above, which should be occupied by the painting, is bare.
Either this was an error, or there is no actual wall painting in the series. The only "real" pictures we have of the painting come from behind-the-scenes prop shots and a publicity shot of Wally.

Re: The Wall Painting
No in Rubbers dream / hallucination there are a grand total of 3 frames where the painting can be seen (very blurry but still there). it is one of the objects that has been removed from the room.

Re: The Wall Painting
Ah, I see. I knew that it had "appeared" in three frames, but thought perhaps that it was just a blooper. If it is indeed one of the objects missing from the room, then it would make sense that it should not be in frame when Joe first walks in. Thanks for clearing that up!

Re: The Wall Painting
Na not a blooper its just when Joe uses the Polaroid he doesn't look over the bed and the only time we get a spin around of the room is in rubber dream when he sees himself as the occupant.

Re: The Wall Painting
Book not available through interlibrary loan. I'm going to see if I can get the school to buy it. I've had luck with this sort of thing before. So-don't buy it! My school will fund our research!

Re: The Wall Painting
The house could be the
CLAREMONT HOTEL
it could be visible from the University, as it is just
about 2 miles away... dunno

The middle house in this pic also has similar qualities
On the other hand I am pretty sure the building is this one
