do you think the general public, non object collectors would be ready for an object like this, 99.5% of them may not even know for sure it was even in the show if it's the first time watching.
i never knew about it at first, and when i first went to e-bay to search for the lost room, it was for the DVD, not objects. it was by chance i saw the key prop and got hooked that way.
i think EVERY PROP LISTING, Regardles of who posts thier objects, should have links back to here, mentions of the collectors, and description of where the object can be seen in the show, or a screen cap.

I agree with all of that. You may have noticed that my listing for Lester Bony Fish was essentially an advertisement for The Lost Room. I didn’t make any money. In fact, if it had not sold, I would have lost money. It was a gamble.
I’m not sure what eBay will allow. If we can get away with listings that advertise our forum and even include hyperlinks, I am all for it.
You do realize that the reason why we do this is to promote the show? Our theory is that if people see a lot of prop listings, even for obscure props like the harmonica, they will get the impression the show has a huge cult following and become intrigued. Before we realized how a whole catalogue of object props looks when listed together, we even considered reselling vintage items as object props distasteful. When we realized it was a great way to build up support for the show, we were all for it.
