Am I The Collectors Fanatic? Who told you so? :P
Yep, yep, yep
After receiving the OA addition to my signature I realized how much it means to me to be a part of The Collectors.
You are my family abroad, kinds of spirit.
I have learnt so many things in this year of being a Collector;
new words every day... just yesterday I learned a watch has a
bezel, crown
lugs
and
movement
Last week I learned who Olivia de Havilland is
and few weeks ago I learnt about the Conte Oak and Berkeley University, and the history of the faculty.
Collecting, even just making a catalogue of the Collectibles, is rewarding.
This is my testimony to you: I am officially a goner *laughs*

Re: Am I The Collectors Fanatic? Who told you so? :P
I can certainly attest to your experience. As a citizen of Finland, it is a foreign language experience for you, but it is a foreign experience for me.
I have learned about the film business, props and prop making, countless vintage collectables, manufacturing standards, forums and working online, etc, etc, etc. It has been a remarkably broadening experience. I have also learned a lot about other countries and persons from other countries such as you.
If I actually tried to take account of all that I have learned, it would take many hours just to begin to list it all.
