Stargate Universe
I was really looking forward to this show, but as the previews get more vivid, I am beginning to suspect the worst. That creepy SyFy feeling is creeping in.

Ya same here
When i was at comic con i saw a preview and the one i saw made it look like they actually had a good show in the works and that they might pull it off right. But the previews i saw recently made me slap my forehead and realize hope was lost.

They promised this one would be different. That seems to be true; but while it may be different from the other Stargates, it appears to be exactly like SyFy . It will be to the other Stargates what Land of the Giants was to Lost in Space.

I agree. I was very impressed with them making it feel different from the other series, while at the same time keeping the continuity in mind.

So far, I like it.
Still, it is Lost in Space. It even has Dr. Smith and Will Robinson.
That said, I think I finally have a show to watch again. It takes the place of Battlestar Galactica.

I have a lot of issues with this episode. Still, it has left me wanting more. I guess that’s the most I ask for these days.
I don’t like that everyone acted so stupid. On the other hand, I have been in real emergency situations and I know that people really do act that way. I guess I have to live with an honest portrayal.

Ok, show of hands who thought the ship would survive. I knew what was gonna happen but I was still pleasently entertained. Nice space shots. They were very Battlestar Galactica. It's definitely not like the other Stargates.
