Goji juice and various Antioxidant rich Foods
Research seems to show that the combination of fruits and vegetables have visable effects on the activity of antioxidants in the body. The coupling of both fruits and vegetables appears to lead to a wider diminishing of risk for chronic disease and 2 that have been proven to be reduced by this are cancer and heart disease. Certain tea's and goji juice appear to be particularly helpful by some studies, aklthough it should be noted that this has not been verified by the Foof and Drug Administration, who are the final word on the subject.
It should be noted that the American Heart Association has publicized that a diet of 5 or more servings a day of fruits and vegetables are what a body needs to stay healthy. The American Cancer Society also agrees with the five a day rule of fruit and vegetables in their publications.
These two organizations believe that the research has proven the effects of properties in some fruits and vegetables that have antioxidants that they have run complete campaigns to promote their eating five a day of these foods for good health. This is their way of educating the common person who may not have an avid interest in reading about nutrition.
While health is important and the five fruits and vegetables are important according to research there is also the added benefits that these organizations do not publicize like clear skin, healthy hair and possible a slowing of the outward signs of the aging process, although again that statement was not verified by the Food and Drug Administration.
Antioxidants can be found in many foods and fruits, it can also be taken in supplements and it can be found in tea. Both black tea and green tea has antioxidants that can be beneficial to the body by drinking a cup of tea at anytime of the day.
Green tea comes from the Camellia Sinensis and is processed differently than black tea; the leaves are dried; however they are not fermented. This is what gives green tea its lighter color and flavor and it also leaves more of the natural antioxidants that is found in tea leaves.
By drinking tea there is approximately 8 to 10 times the power of eating fruits and vegetables and this amount of antioxidants assaults the free radicals in the body, along with detoxifying toxic chemicals in the body.
There have been many studies done on tea and nations that are known for significant tea consumption like Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan and China, for example. It has been found in these countries that there is less heart disease, cancer and other diseases.
