What are you reading?
I'm curious to what books everyone is reading.
I'll start off.
Maigret in Vichy by Georges Simenon

Re: What are you reading?
I generally spend my reading time on periodicals, Pipes and Tobaccos, National Geoghaphic, and such. Rarely do I venture into an actual "book". I think it's a commitment issue.
For Christmas my oldest daughter gave me a gift certificate to Borders, and another for my birthday.
(I think she is trying to hint at something.)
Anyway, I am currently half way through "Ideas and Opinions" by Albert Einstein. Quite the political fellow was Albert. The bulk of it consists of articles and letters published in Amsterdam in the 1930's.
On deck is something a bit lighter.

Re: What are you reading?
Lately I've been reading for escape; too much thinking already occurs at work. I've tended to focus on thrillers, especially political ones, and mysteries. Currently reading "Midas" by a guy named Russell Andrews. Have really gotten hooked on Greg Illes' books.

Re: What are you reading?
I've taken up some fantasy reading.....the St. Louis Metropolitan Area phone directory. Granted, it doesn't have much of a plot, but there are a LOT of interesting characters......

Spent sometime in the book of Genesis this morning.
With all this rain, I'm beginning to wonder if I should start building an ark. lol

Re: What are you reading?
The last book I read was The Haunted Bookshop by Christopher Morley. Next up is the rest of the Narnia books by CS Lewis. I've read LWW, and the Magician's Nephew so far.
