I finally got through "Uncle Tom's Cabin", Now I'm starting on "Scarpetta" by Patricia Cornwell.

If you like medical mystery and drama, Cornwell is a great author in my opinion.

I've been looking through some LIFE magazines from the late 60's and early 70's.
I love the Medico and Yello Bowl advertisments.

The "Scarpetta" books are great Whiskers...Pat gets them in Audio books from the library.

Some of those old adverts are classic Rob. Funny how I can close my eyes and see them...especially some of the Christmas ones with Santa and his pipe, curling smoke wreaths around his head...............

Did I just date myself?!?

Live and Let Die, Ian Fleming.

-making my way through the whole series.

Rob - I just bought a used copy of The Sword of Shannarra for two bucks. Haven't read it since I was a teen.
