From Whiskers Workshop
I found this very funny, and it's pretty much work safe, just very suggestive. Something I made up myself last night.
I was involved with working on my latest hobby, which was revived from one of my old hobbies, R/C cars. Not your dime store type stuff, but real R/C stuff, it costs about $500 -$1,000 just to get started. I've had the stuff since the early '90's and decided to see if it still worked.
So here's the story:
"The Tale of the Screw"
I was working on a car, late at night, and realized that I didn't have a long enough screw, so I decided to look to see if I could find a longer screw.
I measured the hole to find out how much longer the screw could be, and then went to the box to see if I had that longer screw.
Lo and behold, I had a longer screw in stock, and then put it in the hole. It worked perfectly. The End.
Sorry I'm not much of a writer, but I thought it might give some of you a good laugh.

I know I knew something about that in my youth, now if I could just remember what it was.

I'll see what happens, but alot of the time I'm not real happy after being in the workshop. Some people think those R/C cars are toys, but in reality they are just scaled down racecars. One run, (4-5 minutes for mine, more for the nitro guys) and you bring it back in and spend some time working on it, anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 days.
I'll try to come up with one anyway.

I have an idea, I could turn this into a diary of sorts, and tell y'all what I'm up to and doing. Let me know what y'all think.

Re: From Whiskers Workshop
I've been playing "carpenter". I needed to put up a wall to hang some shelves, so I can organize some of my stuff out there.
The wall structure is all nailed together, but as far as the shelves, yep, I needed some more screws. So I went on a search mission to get some screws. I looked in one box and only found some short screws. Then I opened up the second box, and found the long screws and some medium screws. So I took a handfull of the mediums, and got about 14 of the long screws. I'm all set up with screws for a bit.
Maybe not as good as the first screw post, but the joke gets old after awhile.
