While in Denver....

....I had planned to drop by Edwards Tobacco Shop. It didn't work out due to some poor timing, but while out hunting for a new trailer connector for the truck Saturday, I passed a tobacco shop on Alameda Blvd. On the way back from the parts store, I dropped by the Tobacco Leaf. You were right Scott....a bunch of rude and self important "gentlemen" run the place. When I asked about bulk blends, I was informed that they only carried house blends in bulk. "Too bad," I told them, "I was looking for a few pounds of Stokabeys, McClellands and G&H in bulk."

However, I wasn't going home empty-handed, so I picked up a few tins.
Image The S/L in the pic is our "road-trip" gift from Scott and Camille. We both made good use of it...thanks amigo!

I figured I had nothing to lose with these clowns, so I made fun of all those "factory" meers and the fact that I got their last tin of Erinmore Flake..."Too bad you don't have a decent supply of "good" tobacco here"....
Anyhow, it was fun baiting the Elitists, and I've added to the cellar.

Some good stuff there Ted - can't make out the drum tins though in the photo's? Good to find the Light Flake though.

Show 'em the power of the Ozark mafia and make 'em an offer they can't refuse!

So that would explain the new sign on their door about not serving Ozark boys. LOL!

Way to stick it to them Ted. emoticon I can't stand that kind of BS. Nothing pisses me off more than snobbery.

Well, Scott warned me so I wasn't un-prepared for the "attitude". Was fun poking at it, although they *did* get some of my hard-earned cash. Not as much as I had hoped to drop at Edwards though. Still need some Drury Lane...really miss that blend. Guess I need to give them a call and find out how much the price has jumped......
Maybe get some Strawberry too...for Pat...she loves the room note.
