JFH "Whiskey Biscuit Gravy":

I was making my regularly scheduled order with "Just For Him" and Waymond recommended I try their Whiskey Biscuit Gravy.

Anyone here tried it? I think I remember The Bear smoking it a while back? Any input is appreciated. Ted, anyone?

As I remember it, that's an aromatic. Not a bad smoke, but not something I'd go out of my way for. Keep in mind, I'm the guy who smokes Condor!!!

Thanks Ted. I love Condor as well!

Waymond said it was unique like STM (Latakia based) with a good body and flavor. If you were not to impressed with it, doubt I will be either.

Well you were spot on. The sample I got was enough for five bowls. Decent smokes, but nothing special.

Thought our tastes were pretty close on this type of tobacco.

JFH has a few pretty good aromatics, especially in the "Middle Earth Series".

Yes Sir, I love me some Shortcut to Mushrooms.

Heads up Ted, Waymon just told me about two new ones at JFH...

Dusk - Dark Cavendish, Virginia and Latakia. Pressed into a cake for four months and topped with Drambuie liquor. Really smooth and unique.

Blueberry Hill - Blueberry Aeromatic. Imagine McC's Raspberry in Cream only Blueberry flavored.

I have both coming, just waiting for the Dusk to come out of the press, then they will be on the way. Will report back on both after intense testing and consumption.

I'll be waiting for your impressions on these two Jack. I've never been a fan of blueberries but the Dusk sounds interesting...
A Va-Lat with Cavendish should be tasty.

The Blueberry Hill has had my attention for a full day now. I have gotten A LOT of compliments on the aroma. I'm impressed with this Aromatic because it tastes like it smells. Medium body and smooth. Easy to pack and light. Smokes dry, cool and no bite. None.
Never gets harsh. Bottom line, it's a very well done aromatic.

Going to move on to the Dusk tonight.
