Ultra Premium Aromatic?
Ok, I am a newbie, and have finally learned to smoke slowly enough so as not to burn my tongue
Now that I can actully taste the baccy with an undamaged tongue I find myself looking forward to my pipe all day!
My question now is: as I only smoke 1 to 2 bowls a day usually 1 bowl before bedtime during the week, maybe 2 bowls on the weekend......so my baccy consumption is very low, therefore I am eager to smoke the very best I can get my hands on! I know highest price never garentees highest enjoyment, but if you take price out of the equasion what is your best TASTING aro? sure taste and aroma are tied togather but I have found many baccys that smell great and are a bit of a let down in the taste dept. I am curently very fond of McClelland premium aro's and Evening Stroll but am on the hunt to expand my horizons.

Re: Ultra Premium Aromatic?
My favorite aromatic is C&D Autumn Evening.
Smells great and tastes like tobacco.

Another Evening Stroll devotee here...try some Shortcut to Mushrooms from Just For Him...
check here...
Another that I like now and then is Columbian Mocha from McC's.
Happy smoking.

Re: Ultra Premium Aromatic?
I consider GLP Haddo's Delight to be an aromatic - whatever, it's delicious.

Re: Ultra Premium Aromatic?
Haddo's or Evening Stroll either one are great suggestions.

Re: Ultra Premium Aromatic?
OK, all the above mentioned have been tried and I liked them all but "Shortcut to Mushrooms" was the biggest suprise....all I can say is WOW! AMAZING! To me it taste like they harvested mushrooms FRESH from the woods and slow roasted them over a hardwood campfire, then sliced them into a creamy slighty sweet sauce made at a 5 star resturant.....HOW did they do THAT?! I would never have tried this blend on my own as frankly it just did not sound like a flavor I would enjoy in a pipe, boy was I wrong! Thank you (T-Bear) for the tip, it is helpful sugestions like (this) that makes a forum like this so wonderful (valuable) <--I can not say enough
I hope I may eventually be able to "give back" to the "forum" by contributing some small tidbit that may help improve someones smoking experiance
