Need a Cigar Sugestion
Hey I'm looking for something smooth with a sweet taste to it. (not like cojumars or vanilla) I would like something thats close to the smell or the humidor room in you local shop. Light dark .. i'm pretty easy .. preferable under 10 bucks... the cheaper the better but I figure I would leave it open to the highest price i can afford. I might just buy a pack of backwoods mild cigars.

Re: Need a Cigar Sugestion
Chris,
Sorry I can't help you as I don't smoke sweet flavored cigars. For an inexpensive cigar I would ask you to check out the Helix brand although not really sweet still a good smoke. They have several different sizes and although they haven't been released too long, they are quite popular at the local B&M for a good yet inexpensive smoke.
Have you checked the ratings at cigar afficiando for that type and size of smoke? In their rating area, you can look cigars up by several different methods and may find some brands to try there. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Re: Need a Cigar Sugestion
Chris,
While browsing around today, I saw that Maker's Mark cigarillos are available. Back in my drinking days Maker's Mark was one of my top favorites and I've smoked several of their larger cigars that was gifts from my friend at the local B&M. If you are still in the cigarillo search, these should be a good one to try.

Re: Need a Cigar Sugestion
heh i just stick to the 65 cent phillys blunts whenim looking for something cheap to smoke that doesnt entail alot of work. so far like strawberry and sour apple, but steer clear of peach and cinnamon. strawberry swiher sweets are ok too, they taste almost identical to strawberry philly blunts but are smaller. i like them for a short drive somewhere. i hear that midletons is supossed to be coming out with a strawberry black and mild...

Re: Need a Cigar Sugestion
When I was up in Jersey in the 70's, it seemed that about half the folks I talked to smoked the Garcia Vegas so naturally I had to try them too. I smoked the Maduro Panatellas and I must admit that I smoked a lot of them for a while but haven't smoked one for quite a few years now. It seems that somewhere along the line I smoked one at the local B&M one day but it wasn't one of the 4-5 pack types.
For an inexpensive cigar, try the Judge's Cave, Flor de Oliva or Helix. I haven't tried the Judge but a couple of fellows at the B&M smoke them quite often. I have tried the Oliva Maduros and the Helix with the Helix being my favorite of those two. For around the five buck range the options greatly increase with the 8-5-8 Maduros being my favorite in that range.
