Jewels

Hav-A-Tampa Jewels were cool when I was a teenager and I have picked up a box now and then thru the years. They used to have a wooden tip, but it's plastic now. It's not the same.

There was also a slim one that was twisted and very sweet. ('Rum Twists' ?, dont remember the name)

When I was stationed in Jersey, I once bought a $1.50 Cuban at Macy's; man it was good.

John,

$1.50 for a Cuban!!! When I go to the middle east the cheapest I can find them is about 9 bucks a pop, and this is the place where you can still buy a carton of Marlboro's for under 10 dollars.

  Do you still smoke cigars??

That $1.50 for a Cuban was in 1959! Also, the name of that cigar was "Rum Crook", it wasn't twisted , it was crooked.(and sweet)

I pick up a box of little tipped cigars on rare occasion; cant smokeum' in the house...likeum' though!

Been pickin up a "Havana Honey" now and again. Not a big cigar smoker but these are nice for a change of pace. They come in honey and vanilla flavors........... At 3 bucks a pop, I don't indulge often....I could buy a nice tin of baccy for the price of two of these.
